Maine Lobster CompanyThe Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound, a family owned and operated Maine lobster company, has been in the lobster business for over 50 years. Ever since George and Gertrude Gascon bought Ogden's lobster pound in 1956, four generations of our family have worked to bring quality, fresh Maine seafood to the public year-round. Our location is the same, but some of the technology has changed over the years. Gone are the wooden crates. We now use high-tech refrigerated units with bio-filtering technology to keep a constant flow of perfectly cooled, clean sea water running through our holding facilities. We've also added more lobster pounds and a refrigeration unit behind the company building. A Maine Lobster Company with Modern Technology and Traditional IdeasSome things haven't changed at all. We still cook our Maine lobsters in real sea water over wood fires, just the way we've always done. We also still serve our fresh-cooked lobster, crab and clams at our seasonal eatery. It's a relaxed atmosphere with great-tasting food and family charm. We open every Memorial Day and close every Columbus Day, just like our parents and grandparents did.
